George Panakal is a Solutions Consultant with TATA Interactive Systems in charge of Facilitated Learning. George also conducts certifications for trainers on the TOPSIM – based Management simulations, and has extensive facilitation experience in a wide variety of programs in four continents.
Starting with a graduation in Hospitality Management, George has an interesting exposure in varied industries like automotive sales, financial services, banking, and consulting prior to his employment with Tata Interactive Systems. Training and skill development has always been his passion.
In 12 years, George has worked with companies like ICICI Bank, GE Capital, and Genpact-Wachovia. He was instrumental in migrating the process training for all of ICICI Bank's services to a web-based module as head of ICICI Bank's Head-Training for CSPB. In addition, he has also designed and created training tools in loss prevention, audited quality management systems, and laid down processes for SOX compliance.
George is a certified trainer in Communication Skills, Sales Leadership, General Management, Universal Banking, Change Management, and Project Management. He is also a Master Trainer for the UID authority of India.
Currently, George devises training strategies and designs learning solutions that suit a blended learning approach. He also delivers guest lectures in General Management, Project Management, Banking, and Business Communication at various business schools in India.
